House Redoran became the eminent power in Morrowind, taking the position that Hlaalu had held throughout the Third Era.ĭuring the Oblivion Crisis in the Summerset Isles the Imperial Empire were order to pull out leaving the Altmer/High Elves to fight off Dremora and the Oblivion Gates on their own. As a result, Hlaalu was unceremoniously stripped of its Great House status and dismissed from the Morrowind Grand Council.

House Hlaalu, due to their close ties with the Imperial administration, became the scapegoat for all of the Dunmer people's suffering. Shortly after the eruption of Red Mountain, Morrowind came under siege from the Argonians of Black Marsh, again being saved by the army led by House Redoran.

And in the events of the Red Year, 4E 5, brought further destruction to Morrowind as all of the settlements on Vvardenfell were obliterated. In 4E 17, Titus Mede I was name the new Emperor of the Imperial Empire.ĭuring the Oblivion Crisis in the Black Marsh being threaten by the Dremora, the Hist Trees powered up the Argonians so much the Dremora were force to close their own Oblivion Gates.ĭuring the Oblivion Crisis in the Morrowind the Imperial Empire were order to pull out leaving the Dunmer/Dark Elves to fight off Dremora and the Oblivion Gates on their own, and thanks to the army led by House Redoran they fought off the Dremora until the Oblivion Gates were closed.Īfter the Oblivion Crisis the House Hlaalu lost most of it's political power, because they openly accepted the Imperial Empire.
